I offer an empathic, compassionate, and supportive approach to psychotherapy. I strive to create and nurture a contemplative and collaborative therapeutic environment within which to explore your concerns and to develop meaningful responses to the obstacles and challenges you are facing.

I work with school-aged children, adolescents, and adults. My broad clinical experiences in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings continually deepen my understanding of and respect for the profound uniqueness of each human being, while also refining my discernment and honoring of the universal fears, challenges, and desires which we share. My areas of expertise include challenges associated with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, exploring and effectively balancing the realm of emotions, interpersonal relationships, and fraught life transitions. In my work with children and adolescents, I incorporate creative and artistically expressive opportunities appropriate for each patient’s age and unique development stage.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina and received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I completed training at the UNC Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Outpatient Program and am a certified Circle of Security Parenting facilitator. I am an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work.
